With text superimposed over the video documenting the different, yet parallel, languages of partners, it creates a discussion about the duality between separate perspectives conjoining at one event. The scrolling text explores difference in the language between two individuals: how the other perceives it, and the push-and-pull of trying understand each other. The two separate scrolling texts exist parallel to each other, and briefly connect during the dialogue to acknowledge the other person’s existence within their world. The viewer becomes the third element of the dialogue, where coming in at any point during the piece allows the viewer to engage, but does not necessarily give the viewer the entire story of two in the field.
